Want to give Underwater Photography a go? No problem! The Liquid Lense Go Photo Course is an introductory course structured to help you get the most out of an underwater camera without taking too much time out of your diving holiday in Ko Lanta. You’ll be amazed at how much you can learn in just 1.5 days!

The Go Photo Course is designed for divers looking to get a quick introduction into underwater photography and those looking to capture some underwater holiday memories to take home and enjoy.

Day 1

16:00 – 18:00
(edit suite)
Meet up with one of our Liquid Lense experts to review the underwater camera and housing. You’ll become familiar with the controls and learn about proper care and how to prepare the housing. You’ll learn about basic composition and angles, and discuss the importance of white balance.


Day 2

08:00 – 17:30
(day on the boat – 2 dives)
Make 2 dives with one of our professionals at your side. You’ll test different white balance settings, angles and shot types throughout the dives. Your instructor will review your photos and provide feedback.We’ll provide an easy introduction into editing and burn your photos to disc for you to take home and share!

What will I learn in the Liquid Lense Go Photo Course?

The 1.5 day course is split into camera equipment training, 2 open water dives and an introduction to editing techniques:


During the session in the Liquid Lense edit suite, you’ll learn about photographic composition, techniques, light and colour and how to utilize these to make your photos stand out!

You’ll become familiar with the underwater camera you will be using, and discuss which settings and controls to use. We’ll also run through proper care and set-up of the underwater housing

During the day out on the boat you’ll complete 2 dives accompanied by one of our Liquid Lense experts.

You’ll check the housing prior to diving, review your goals for the day, and be set a series of shot types, settings and positions to try.

Upon returning we’ll review your photos in more depth and provide constructive feedback. You are also welcome to an easy introduction to editing using Adobe Lightroom. We’ll burn your photos to disc so you can take your photo memories home with you to share and enjoy!
